3D SCANNING OF PIPING
Medir International has 3D scanners for various applications. A frequently used application within the petrochemical industry is the scanning of pipework.
An environment is digitized by means of a 3D scan. With software it is possible to select and edit piping from the 3D file.
Medir International also has an explosion-proof 3D scanner for scanning in Atex zones.
3D scanning of parts
In addition to equipment for scanning environments, Medir International also has various 3D scanners for the highly accurate scanning of parts.
Common applications are scanning a screw for geometry checking or scanning a camshaft.
The measured data can be compared with a CAD file to check the quality. It is also possible to generate a new drawing based on the scan data.
